A Look at 92078’s Real Estate Numbers
The figures are in for February, and the numbers remain quite strong for home sales in 92078. A quick comparison to the same time period last year shows some minor fluctuation, so let’s take a quick look at some of the highlights.
92078 experienced a slight increase of available inventory in February with a total of 54 new single family home listings hitting the market, compared to 40 new listings in February 2017, an increase of 35%. The total inventory of single-family homes for sale was also up 10% with 51 homes available for purchase, versus 46 during the same period last year. Although the available inventory was a little higher than last year, the average number of days that homes were on the market until sold during February was only 17 days, versus 43 days last year, which shows that homes are in high demand.
Home values are very strong and continue to be at or near the all-time high. The median sales price of a 92078 single-family home during the month of February was $728,000, an increase of 1.6% compared to last February’s $716,500 median price. Year to date, the median sales price for a single-family home in 92078 is holding steady at $735,000.
